What it does
The Reylix QuickBooks Online Connector lets the AI assistant your team uses, Claude or ChatGPT, work in your QuickBooks Online company files: entering supplier bills from your AP inbox, recording invoices and payments, posting journal entries with GST/HST, and saving reports to Excel in your Drive or OneDrive.
- Roles per person and company file, matching QuickBooks’ own roles, so segregation of duties holds.
- Safeguards on every entry: duplicate checks, closed periods respected, daily limits, and Canadian sales tax on every line.
- Nothing is ever deleted, and no money is moved. Recording a payment doesn’t pay anyone.
- A complete activity log, kept for six years.
- Hosted in Canada, in a separate copy for each client.
Getting started
The connector is set up by Reylix for each client. Once your copy is ready:
- Your QuickBooks administrator connects each company file once, using a single-use link from Reylix. See Connecting QuickBooks.
- Each person adds the connector in Claude (Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector) or ChatGPT (Settings → Connectors → Create), using the address Reylix gives you, and signs in with their work Google or Microsoft account.
- Then ask “who am I?” in a new chat to see your companies and role.
Disconnecting
A QuickBooks administrator can disconnect at any time. See Disconnecting.
